A business that no one seems to understand is a seasonal business, unfortunately this business could be two things either the greater thing that ever happened to you or the worst thing you could have every done to yourself, this business depends on two aspects or two point of views in our business world, both which you probably already discussed with your business consultant or in your business plan, but then again lets speak briefly all of this is hypothetical on paper, its not in our real world where the variables are changing everyday, now there are two questions that are related to such a business which are number one question who are your competitors in the line of business you have chosen ?? and number two is this quarterly or mid year type of business sufficient enough to work in order to fulfill maximum income and cover expenses??
First of all, let’s name a few seasonal businesses you have a couple very significant businesses, especially those that are attended during vocational times like amusement parks, or water seaside activities, you also have concession stands at games, you also have gift shops, and ice cream trucks, whatever the business you decided to go with out of those selected you should know that they are only going to work during half of the year and maybe quarters of the year. When it comes to competition remember that people have money and they could start a business just like yours next to you, when that happens you should start by thinking to yourself that its best that you always keep your ideas original, and your prices less people always love a good deal they could save good money on.
When it comes to the question whether your business will make enough money to open up the rest with year knowing that it might have few customers or no customers at all, you should trust yourself and your business idea before anything, if you feel like your business may not be of use during the other part of the year just close it, their is no need to hire people and pay bills for nothing you could always just put out an ad for summer jobs every year, and restart opening your business a month before its season and leave it one month after its season making your business a successful business with a mid year range, making a good profit out of it in the seasonal businesses world.
