pick n pay Ulundi
Supermarkets have become real big competitors to the small convenience stores and businesses especially those who really catchy names like a supermarket that has recently opened in the states called pick n pay, when I asked where did they find a store as such or which brand are they franchising they said pick n pay that is a supermarket that has made a great hit in South Africa, after I found out the origins of the place I had to ask the owner why he decided to bring this store back to the states or what gave him the idea to franchise this store.
When I sat down and heard his story, the most significant things he said were that this store has a different charm to it, it seemed to have some of everything making the store complete and what attracted him even more was the catchy name and explained to me after sitting with the owner in South Africa and hearing his point of view to how he started this supermarket and came up with it, that got him even more attached to the idea of owning it but back in his own country.
Pick n pay Ulundi is like no other supermarket because like the owner said it had taste of everything, when I asked to look at the business plan I understood why he preformed it very well, in a way that was so organized that you would think that it came out of book, from how clean it was prepared and it shocked to how complete and efficient it was. Just so we all know as business plan isn’t how many big words we use in it or big numbers its how its prepared and implemented.
Let me tell you this supermarket has a design blue print to attract customers, he stressed on the two most important point in a plan the demographics and the location and he sure stepped on it right. The supermarket contains a deli for those who want food on the go, this deli offers Chinese food, Japanese food, American food, Italian food, and French food all you could imagine is in that little deli, then you have the butcher he has poultry and meat, after that you go on beverages from wine to water you can find it all, I don’t have to explain the pick n pay Ulundi dessert section it has all you need and all you could think of. No wonder he franchised it back to the states, just one idea could make a difference and if you see the size of the store you would amazed how it carries all those merchandise.
