quilt shops for sale

I know, I know your probably thinking what??!! quilts they are so out of style and out of date, why would I bore myself and read an article about this, what kind of crazy business owner would I be if I go through with opening just a store or think about any kind of franchising in the quilt shops business it would never work. STOP for just a moment and quite down don’t freak out a quilt business isn’t out of style or out of date people just started knitting them at home because shop keepers stopped paying attention to them and starting using the easy way out buying and selling wholesale products.

You know how about 8 out of 10 people knit their own quilts for the grandchildren, children, and even do it for fun, when you ask what’s the reason they don’t buy those regular made blankets they say well “winter is cold and those blankets aren’t comfy enough” So, I decided gathering all those people to make a petition asking for a business owner to open a section even a small one in their store, they spoke to supermarkets, clothing stores, gift shops,  sunglass huts, and concession stands. No one seemed to agree so I took the risk in opening a small but convenient shop so they could sell their quilts, and knitted items at first it was quiet slow and all those who worked so hard to knit were very disappointed.

In a business word especially the knitting business that isn’t so common, you’ll never find a quilt shops for sale sign that stopped being our culture a long time ago. I decided to put something else in the store to grab people’s attention to knitting. I turned my shop into various shops now remember its small but it had three walls, I made into a gift shop/ concession stand/ flower shop/ knitting is back in style shop. Those four shops seemed to rhyme together very well, my location is inside a middle classed neighborhood, I kept my prices reasonable and in a month’s time knitted items where going out of that store with almost very purchase. Some people would pass by see the shop and stop to buy a drink grab a small gift or bouquet of flowers to loved one I would offer the idea  of taking a knitted item to a small loved one as well or keeping as a homemade souvenir and it worked that strategy is called diverse marketing, where you merge different ideas to sell one.
