In order to own a rural business, you must be up to living in rural areas rather than the suburbs or urban city areas, rural areas are farm lands or country type homes not like suburbs which are a few minutes outside the city and urban areas that are the city itself. Each of these areas of course have advantages and disadvantages :

Rural areas

Advantages:

– living in a quite area where you have loads of space to do many things ( building for instance)
– nature is everywhere around you , giving you a beautiful scenery
– you feel very independent just doing what you want in that free space.
– its a small quite community, where you will be known by everyone and enjoy those small occasional gatherings that are made.

Disadvantages:

– Transportation is hard to get around, you need a car or truck
– going out often to supermarkets, or cafe will be a hassle
– not meeting a lot of different people
-not being able to take walk away from your property.

Urban areas

Advantages:

– transportation is always available
– hospitals are closer
– jobs are more available

Disadvantages:

– noisy
– crowded
– has more pollution
– traffic

Suburb areas

Advantages:

– nearer to the city
– less noisy
– less crowded

Disadvantages:

– for jobs you cant really make your own living and the nearest job in the city is not less than forty-five minutes
– its  very expensive to find a house
– transportation is hard as well

This really depends on your taste, what I would do really is look for agricultural and rural business for sale, right now the urban areas are getting way too crowded these days and suburbs are too expensive. The only positive area that is cheapest in life expenses, homes, and gas expenses is the rural area, on rural areas you can grow a farm full of different types of vegetables and turn it into a organic vegetable business, later you could even rent it as an agricultural and rural business for sale / rent. In rural areas you could also buy a tractor and use that as your business investment, you could plow other people’s farm lands and earn profit, another option for a a good agricultural and rural business  is to sell agricultural tools or even farming soil. Other ideas for a profitable business could be raising cattle, hens, chickens, pigs, hogs etc. with rural areas you could start many types of profitable business with low cost.
